Outside of my work as an artist, I work as an Occupational Therapist, supporting individuals with neurological disorders. Brain Portraits are a way for the person with a neurological disease to remind themselves of how beautiful their brain is, illness and all. It’s about proudly reclaiming their brain and celebrating who they are as a beautiful human being.
